Week 2 - New Experiences

We learnt how to play new games that help us learn.

We had a big discussion about writing. We talked about our favourite stories and how they were written by people called authors. We discussed why it is important to learn to write. 

Then, before we started writing we talked about the tools we need to be a successful writer.

First we had to learn where to draw our picture to plan our writing...

It is important to fill the space with lots of detail, this helps us to write our stories... 

Next we had to remember to start at the margin and use a capital letter to start our sentence...

Then we had to put all the sounds we learnt in Transition Class together to create words.
